Made as a final project for a Multimedia Authoring class, I wanted to create a representation of a data set. I physically collected the data, organized it in excel, and represented it through an animation. The following is the statement attached to the piece:

For a week from Tuesday April, 18th to Monday April, 24th 2023 the artist asked two participants who each live in different time zones to join her in recording each time they listen to music. One in Seattle, another in Edinburgh (Scotland), and the artist in New York. They each kept a log and wrote down the start and stop times of their music listening each day. They did so in their local time. The artist then took these logs and mapped out when each participant listened to music. The final piece shows both a reflection of daily routine and a physical representation of time zones.
