The photo was taken during my last trip to the Guggenheim, during an Alex Katz retrospective. I found Katz’s work to be super inspiring and connected this inspiration with Oberst’s lyrics and the idea of building something sacred, which lasts till the end (just as Katz’s work feels timeless).
